Pier Paolo “Pier” Castellani è stato chitarrista in alcuni gruppi rock bolognesi negli anni ’70 e ’80 (Tramps, Deep, C.A.S.T.ecc.).Dalla fine degli anni ’80 a tutt’oggi con la formazione blues BLUE STREET si è esibito in innumerevoli concerti di Blues in piccoli locali dell’Emilia e Romagna, tra i quali alcune performance con artisti Blues-Soul internazionali (David Hudson, Hans Hoffman). Ha frequentato seminari di Jazz (Bassano del Grappa Jazz Seminary 2003) ed ha seguito lezioni di tecnica chitarristica e armonia con Garrison Fewell, Professor del Guitar Department del Berklee College of music di Boston.

Alcune cover rielaborate dei Kraftwerk - Depeche Mode - Bauhaus e pezzi originali come Lost in the spin Cycle, T-1000 e Metechno, ritmi da discoteca incattiviti da 2 chitarre elettriche. Il gruppo si presenta sul palco in tuta blu, da veri metalmeccanici, tranne la bellissima cantante Kiara Z., fotomodella professionista e gia' vocalist in alcuni Dj Project come il recente WITHOUT A WORD con il DJ Roby PInna e ADRENALINE di Spy Dj, incluso nell'Electronic Experience EP 001 per Richter (etichetta del famoso producer Mario Più).

The band attempts to create authentic manifestation of Afro-American Music…… this including soul, funk,blues,rock,easy listening,and also a little spice from islands of Jamaica.The tendance is to play good quality music, from the 60’s,70’s, 80’s,90’s,sometimes even 2000….difficult though! Good time music for everyone.Anything from the Rolling Stones,Hendrix,Marvin Gaye,The Clash,Stevie Wonder,James Taylor,Bob Marley,RoyAyers,Style Concil,and of course the late great James Brown.The band takes each song and gives it a whole new authentic feelin .On guitar Guido Masi,on drums Diego Leporatti,on bass Lorenzo Forti, on vocals and leader of the group Andre Halyard aka Dre Love. Dre Love,New York City native,moves to Italy in the early nineties.Dre plays an important role as a sort of musical ambassador to the early italian hip-hop scene.He is a part of the historical hip hop band Radical Stuff. Lead by Dj Skizo and Kaos One. In the years following,he has recorded and collaborated with many important musicians and singers. Dj Gruff, Gopher D, Alex Britti, Jamiroquai, Irene Grandi, Reggae National Tickets, Feel Good Productions, Almamegretta, Esa , Malfunk, Neffa, just to name a few.Lorenzo Forti is one of Italy’s prime bass players.He has published two books on bass theory. Guido Masi is passionate florentine guitarist and the heart of group.Guido participates in many musical projects,his newest,Millelemmi(drum machines,rap,bass,and guitar..Diego Leporratti is young drummer with a love for funky rhythms, a perfect combination.
